Whether you bring your own or race ours, our Billy Cart Racing is not to be miss. So get building or get ready for racing, with plenty of thrills, spills & a spectacular day of fun. Open to all young gun racers (6-15 years) girls + boys.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE?
There are 2 ways you can participate in our Billy Cart Race.
1. Build & Race your own Billy Cart, or 
2. Race our Billy Carts

1. Building your own Billy Cart

Simply build you own Billy Cart, then bring it with you to our event on 5th Dec 2021, at the St ives Showgrounds. Head over to the Billy Cart Race location (see map below) then get ready for racing. Racing starts at 10am till 1.30pm.

What do you need:
Safety Guidelines:
All carts must meet these Safety Guidelines otherwise they will not be able to race. On the day of our event, each cart will be checked by our scrutinisers before racing to make sure they have met the Safety Guidelines, before they are allowed to race. If your cart does not pass our safety standards guidelines, your cart will not be allowed to race. So make sure you build your cart to our Safety Guidelines.
Register:
You can register to race onlin or register on the day, or download the entry for & bring it with you to the event.

2. Race our Billy Carts

If you are unable to build your own Billy Cart, never fear, you can race one of our Billy Carts. Racing starts at 10am till 1.30pm

What do you need:
On event day, 5th DEC, head over to St Ives Showgrounds, then scott around to the Billy Cart Race track. Now you'll be ready for race. But make sure you have the below, otherwise you will not be able to race.
• A parent or guardian who must be present while you are racing
• Enclosed shoes

IT’S ALL ABOUT THE FUN!
Our Billy Cart Race is for the kids to have fun & be involved with our event. Please don't expect a huge hill & a super fast track. The race track is a very gentle slope, thats why its a push start.  It's not all about wInning the race, it's more about getting the kids involved.
